I dunno how this will work, but I am planning to transfer all my blog entries here, and various other sites to my personal site, http://elmer.baluyo.com .. wish me luck hehe..

Too long for an update. Well 2009 is near. Hope it's gonna be a great year to do things.

From my last post up till now, here's what happened.

- Created / Setup / Disbanded FreelancersPh.info
- Created / Setup / Disbanded FreelancersPh.org
- Created / Setup / Disbanded baluyo.com
- Made lots of friends
- Made lots of enemeies
- Ate a lot of food / gained 10-20 lbs (if not kilos)
- Fixed at least 10 pcs.
- Installed Windows XP OS from USB for about 9 times, to a Blue H1 PC (2 times), HP MiniNote(1 time), EEE PC (5 times), Acer Aspire OneNote (1 time)
- Installed Windows XP OS from CD for about 20 times +/-.

New Life, New Challenges

I am up and running again, parang bagong boot na pc.

My current company is slowly getting it's way into the money industry. I just hope it gets bigger and better as time goes by. I'm not going to saudi anytime soon cause of financial stability here. Unlike before, I waited for 6 damn long months just to get a job, now it just took me 3 weeks, and more companies are calling me still, though the salary is bad, I'm still with my family.

Updated my website at geocities.com/elmersbaluyo and geocities.com/megamerx ... I'm planning to transfer it to a permanent hosting solution, just getting a hang of market, and check which one would host it long enough. >_>" ..

Hm.. I don't quite get how PPP or Pay Per Post works but I've heard about it on some forums, so here I go posting for them.

Since I'm totally new to this "Pay-to-Blog" stuff, I opted to start with understand what IS a blog. My search ended in a futile effort, thus giving me the final 'What the heck, let's just type anything' approach.

Heck, anyways. Here goes one of my posts just for PPP, for them to approve my blog. Hopefully.

I Google-d ( is this the right term?) PPP and saw their wiki entry. Well, I still can't grasp the concept of having paid by just typing gibberish, personal or work related stuff. I mean, anyone can say anything, but it's like, putting so much junk on the internet, and showing that junk information at the top of a search? Come on? This ain't our view of the internet. Well, I don't mean all the things people put on the internet is gibberish, but it's a collection of ideas already.

I think I'm getting lost on the topic.

Anyways, I signed up for PPP for hopes of increasing my income, rather that finding another job that pays more, but gives you more work. It's an eye-opener for someone like me that work outside my country, and then came back empty handed. This (pay for blogging thing) gives me hope that I can work at home someday and get paid, for just staying home and loving my wife and kid.
